abbie + kyle | a modern boho wedding at wyndridge farm
/Abbie + Kyle are a couple that never stops laughing, but their bright and beautiful blue-skied wedding day was no joke… it was actual perfection!! Not a cloud in the sky, a radiant bride and groom with a wedding party of more than 20 of their closest friends and family members, the most gorgeous sunset and golden hour portraits and a relaxed and sentimental feel to this romantic boho wedding day at Wyndridge Farm; it all felt like a DREAM!
I can’t begin to tell you how excited I am to share some of my favorites from Abbie + Kyle’s stunning October wedding — it was one I won’t soon forget!
8 MEMORABLE MOMENTS AND DETAILS FROM ABBIE + KYLE’S WYNDRIDGE FARM WEDDING
Abbie kicked off the morning by popping champagne with her best ladies by her side in the garden at Wyndridge Farm.
She then won the award for the most organized bride with the most details for me to photograph. Abbie proceeded to unpack 3 separate (and huge) very organized storage boxes full of:
3 pairs of shoes, 2 dresses (with a pearl hanger!), a personalized denim jacket with pearls, an invitation suite she designed herself with copper, terracotta, jade green and peach accents, extra ribbon, dried florals and greenery, an antique gold tray for her jewelry, vow books, a pearl clutch, multiple ring boxes, perfume, wax seals and more… I loved every single piece!Abbie made all the wedding signage (to compliment the invitation suite) including an amazing champagne seating card display for all their guests and drink signage at the bar that incorporated both of their pups.
To honor Abbie’s late brother, his 3 best friends walked Abbie down the aisle one at a time, to meet her dad.
Kyle’s reaction upon seeing his beautiful bride coming closer… not a dry eye for miles!! This was after an emotional first touch while reading notes from each other before their pastor led them in an intimate prayer circle.
Forte Florals created the most beautifully whimsical and romantic boho florals that were not only in the bouquets, but lining the ceremony aisle and hanging from above the outdoor chapel: eucalyptus, baby’s breath, pampas grass and textured flowers in shades of orange, rust, peach, coral, terracotta and marigold.
The largest dessert table I’ve ever seen with a 2-tiered cake and HUNDREDS of bite-size treats (cannolis, brownies, cupcakes, whoopie-pies… plus more I don’t know the names of)!
As an alternative to a sparkler exit that was just as photogenic and fun but made a lot less mess and had no safety concerns… tinsel gold wands for every guest! The DJ handed them out on the dance floor during the last song and then everyone lined up on the patio steps to send the happy couple off!
