Some people come into your life at the right time and for all the right reasons…

Kathleen and Ryan, it’s official, you’re MARRIED!!! You two are such a dynamic husband and wife duo that I’m going to let the photos speak for themselves because your wedding day was such a perfect blend of everything that’s memorable about YOU TWO from start to finish! It has been an absolute honor and joy getting to know you both over the last year!!

The #McGrathleen love story started 7 years ago… and each detail that was a part of the wedding held meaning and significance to them both.

They honored Kathleen’s grandparents by choosing to get married on the anniversary of their 12/27/47 wedding date, incorporating her grandfather’s favorite drink as their signature for the night (Harry’s Manhattans!) and marrying all of those with Burger King as a late night snack as a way to incorporate Ryan’s family’s franchisee status! Here are 10 fun facts that give you a glimpse into their modern, stylish and festive winter wedding at Haven Street Ballroom:

1. The groom and groomsmen riding scooters through the streets of East Baltimore from the Sagamore Pendry, where they got ready, to Haven Street Ballroom for the first look.

2. A father-daughter, then brother-sister reveal before her first look with Ryan

3. A confetti send-off before heading to the church with their bridal party in front of the amazing Haven Street Ballroom mural

4. Faux fur stoles for all of the bridesmaids to accent their mismatched dark red Azazie dresses and a fringe faux leather jacket

5. The NYE-inspired fringe wall in black, gold and silver provided a bold backdrop for the glitter party horn guest place cards

6. A luxe lounge setup in gold, ivory and an emerald green velvet sofa for guests to enjoy all night

7. Guests were seated at elegantly minimal and modern tables with warm white and gold neutral tones, candlelight and a variety of patterned gold linens

8. Waterfall twinkle lights that hung above the dance floor added just the right amount of romance, ambiance and sparkle

9. Burgers King burgers (and crowns!) as a late night snack since the groom’s family owns a BK franchise

10. A dance floor that was filled non-stop thanks to Dirty Dancing first dance moves and oversized photobooth props that quickly found their way onto Kathleen’s head
    

St. Casimir’s Church in Canton is the church Kathleen + Ryan attend regularly; it’s an incredible space and has the longest aisle I’ve ever seen! They also had the most extensive sanctuary Christmas decor that provided a vibrant backdrop for their ceremony photos.

Anna + Jordan of The Otherside Creatives, we couldn’t have done this without you!! These waterfall twinkle lights over the dance floor at Haven Street Ballroom were an unbelievably smart way to bring a romantic feel (and more light where we wanted it!) to the high-ceilinged white space. SO dreamyyyy…

After dessert and a bit more dancing, the party got a bit more of a bite to it…
