sneak peeks | laura + cesar's elegant december wedding at baltimore country club
/These Lafayette College sweethearts have a love story that was 10 years in the making and as Laura’s sister Amy mentioned, a passion for each other, their families, their sports teams and hobbies, that is unstoppable!!
Laura had an absolutely exquisite vision for their sophisticated wedding at the Baltimore Country Club in Roland Park and I can’t wait for you to enjoy these sneak peeks from their festive December wedding!
Here are some of the highlights and winter wedding inspiration that I can’t get enough of:
Laura’s faux fur wrap that provided a luxe look with her white and green winter bouquet full of dusty miller, silver brunia, roses, white ranunculus and a white king protea
Cesar getting ready with his groomsmen in the bowling alley of the Baltimore Country Club
dark emerald green velvet bridesmaids dresses from Jenny Yoo and BHLDN combined with groomsmen in custom navy Enzo suits and light green ties from Vineyard Vines
modern and lush wintergreen bouquets by Victoria Clausen Floral Events (who also designs and decorates the entire club for the holidays!)
choreographed dance moves during their first dance AND parent dances as the 8 piece Bachelor Boys Band rocked the dance floor all night
the second wedding in a row with a bride that changed into the prettiest jumpsuit (with an oversized bow on one shoulder) for the second half of the reception!
Grandparent photos might be my favorite… so. much. pride… and love!!!
We were absolutely honored to be a part of your wedding and can’t wait to see you both do incredible things together in Maryland, New York and beyond!
Congratulations to these Lafayette lovebirds and cheers to #marryingmunoz!!!

Naomi

laura + cesar | a romantic horse farm engagement session
/Having met at Lafayette College during Laura’s very first college course (geology!), we were originally planning to take their engagement photos on Lafayette’s campus in the early spring since it only made sense to head back to where their love story started, right?
As attending numerous weddings of close friends (and other Lafayette alumni!) consumed more and more of their travel time and attention, plans shifted back to Maryland. When Laura mentioned she grew up near a horse farm near Howard County and we could take photos while exploring the farm together on a summer evening in July, I was ALL. ABOUT. IT!
In Laura’s words, how Cesar proposed: “The proposal took place the weekend of the NYC marathon. I was running the marathon and my family was in town. My sister flew in from Seattle to surprise me to watch me run. I thought that was the weekend surprise! I messed up Cesar's original plan of proposing on a run. I told him the Saturday before the race I needed to go on a light jog and he was going to go with me. I cancelled the run since my family and friends were in town and we would be doing a lot of walking. Cesar managed to pull me away for a few minutes near the water in Battery Park at Brookfield Place and got down on one knee! The next day I ran the marathon and had a medal around my neck and a ring on my finger!”
These two have an undeniable connection together; I love the way Cesar makes Laura smile and has a way of ensuring everything they do together is fun and full of genuine laughter! We can’t wait for their wedding THIS Saturday at the Baltimore Country Club - another spot with rolling hills and beautiful vistas, just in Baltimore city. ;)

sneak peeks | elizabeth + donald's winter wedding at the baltimore country club
/Elizabeth and Donald’s winter wedding at the Baltimore Country Club had the most incredibly chic, elegant and beautiful meaningful elements making up their day - I’m overjoyed to share these early favorites with you!
You need to peek at this exquisite December wedding that had:
Jayce the pug as their dog of honor in a bowtie
an ivory, burgundy and gold festive holiday color palette
a bouquet of burgundy peonies, white anemones, white calla lilies + eucalyptus
Elizabeth’s grandmother’s fur stole
confetti cannons raining on the dance floor
And I also want to share a PSA that rain on your wedding does NOT mean disappointment and dreary photos - quite the opposite! With creative areas of cover, snuggling together to stay warm and clear umbrellas, it means we get to be more creative and you get the best luck… you know, because rain on your wedding day is good luck (coming from this husband and wife photography team that got married at a vineyard during a hurricane and still look back on it and laugh 10 years later)! ;)
Congratulations again, lovebirds! ps: Mariah Carey’s ‘All I Want for Christmas’ has always been one of my favorites to listen to this time of year and now memories of confetti swirling around as I hear it will always bring me back to your day!

Naomi
