The Assembly Room is an incredible wedding venue in downtown Baltimore, with more space and flexibility than you could ever dream of... in fact, I LOVE their tagline and wish I had coined it myself (ha!): "Bold enough to stand alone, raw enough to make it your own."
There are so many unique character-filled alcoves and photo ops within this space! The architect in me was literally drooling as I shot these... :)
About The Assembly Room:
What began in 1868 as a warehouse for feed, seed and flour has undergone an amazing transformation to open as a private event venue in the heart of Charm City. At one point it was a car wash, then in the early 2000s it was home to Hammerjacks, and finally Bourbon Street prior to its most recent renovation to establish The Assembly Room.

With industrial warehouse venues and industrial chic weddings becoming so popular, what makes The Assembly Room unique? The size, layout and flexibility of the space sets it apart. Instead of one big open room, there are several assembly rooms and cocktail rooms that can be combined or used separately for an event.
How many guests can be accommodated for a seated dinner? Combining the 2 first floor assembly rooms, 380 seated guests or 300 seated with a dance floor.
Where do guests park? Mercy Hospital's Bunting garage which is a 24/7 garage 1/2 block from the building at the corner of Guilford and Pleasant St or, upon request, the Guilford garage next door can be arranged to be opened for events.
How many events are hosted per day? One at this time.
How early do couples have access to the space on their wedding day? Currently there is a 3 hour set up window, but more set up time can be arranged should it be necessary for the event.
Are there spaces for to get ready on site? Yes; there are 2 furnished suites for each side of the bridal party which are included for all weddings.
Do couples have access to the entire facility on their wedding day? There are 4 different event spaces on-site plus suites. Clients choose which spaces they want to rent for their event but from a photography perspective, clients have the ability to take photographs anywhere they choose in the facility. There are a lot of fun corners in and around the building to take photographs!
Are chairs and tables included with rental of the space? Yes; 200 folding fruit wood chairs, 25 sixty-inch rounds and 10 high cocktail tables are all included in the rental.
Are outside caterers permitted? Please contact The Assembly Room for a list of preferred caterers.
Is a representative from the venue going to be on-site for the duration of the event? Yes; a venue manager will be on site from open to close.
What does it cost to host a wedding at The Assembly Room? Rental rates are provided upon request.
Is the facility handicapped accessible? The first floor is fully accessible.
Is the facility air-conditioned? Yes.
